me, i have no personal problems with any lady.
I am scrutinising both comments to detect any differences but so far, I can find nothing. My observation skills are getting more pitiful by the day.

Good job. How'd you manage to get the exposure? Normally events like these have very low lights.
dyanna - I'll be honest with you - I punched the living daylights out of the person who controlled the spotlight that kept fooling my metering.
But seriously, spot metering was used together with a high ISO and a shutter speed set to 1/60. An external flashgun really, really helped.
Oh, and of course extensive post processing using Lightroom ;)
