A Riddle

Try to guess what are the four letters. Example: D-I-N-G

Note to self: Never, ever write an ambiguous headline for national daily.

My guess of the four letters have to be D-O-N-G or P-I-N-G or P-O-N-G.

You just have to see how our learned and honourable members of Parliament were positively responding to the earlier announcement that the "bengkok-bridge" will be built as scheduled, and the remarkable way that almost ALL of them were saying YESSSSSSSS....too, to the cancellation of the very same bridge, just a week or two later on.

So, the letters just have to be Ding-Dong or Ping-Pong.

Well, hello there. First time here?

I haven't gone anywhere. Still in my comfort zone of medicine. I just came across the headline and thought it'd be mighty useful to get this message across;

"AMBIGUITY CAN BE DANGEROUS"

Well said. Which reminds me; I haven't touched a ping pong bat in years.

Indeed, four letters. I wonder what could they be.

And to answer your question; no, I am not interested in politics. There's a huge probability that I'll end up not exercising my voting rights in the next election, even if I do have the power to do so.

mama sarah

Might be, might be.

mynn

Haha.. I think the reporter was just practicing what he or she learnt in journalism school- making headlines that grab people's attentions. And knowing the society general, four letters usually bring to mind a lot of words that end up in asterisks, or a myriad of symbols during print and publishing.

Sarcasm? I'm glad you noticed. It's a trait that runs in the family.

The question was just to get you all started. And I think it has achieved its target.

pycnogenol

I thought dong was the sound of a bell?

crimsonskye

If that's the case, then this particular journalist must have been brilliant during his school days.
